Camp Playmaker is a three-week, hands-on game design summer camp in Charlotte where students ages 12–17 learn how to turn their ideas into playable games.
Students start with imagination, storytelling, character ideas, game worlds, rules, and paper prototypes, then move into beginner-friendly digital game creation. Along the way, they build original concepts, playtest their ideas, get feedback, revise their games, and work toward creating something interactive and playable.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Laptops are provided, and students receive free lunch each day.
