Camp JuMP provides an immersive performance experience in a Christian environment for rising 2nd-9th graders. Each week of camp culminates in the performance of a full scale Broadway Jr. show or Musical Theatre Review, complete with sets and costumes!

Camp JuMP celebrates our 10th anniversary this year, and provides theatre training and performance opportunities in a Christian environment for rising 2nd-9th graders, with an emphasis on leadership and personal artistic growth.

Our core values of Leadership, Community, Excellence and Creativity set the stage to help campers grow, not just as performers, but as people.

Campers will participate in a variety of activities each day as they learn an entire show in one week, which they will perform twice at the end of the week.  Campers will rehearse and be coached daily in singing, dancing, acting, and character development, in accordance with their role in the show.  All campers will work on sets by painting and/or general crafting, and enjoy fun acting and team building games.  We celebrate all our hard work on Friday with a pizza cast party and Saturday awards ceremony.

CAMP OPTIONS:

  • SCRAPPED, a musical theatre review style camp

Camp JuMP Scrapped is a custom, in-house designed musical theatre review with exciting group numbers, choreography, solos, and skits/scene work! Campers are placed into one of four color groups with a different show theme, which fosters color group spirit. Camp culminates in two performances of an hour-long show, complete with sets and costumes.

  • BROADWAY JR., a full-scale production

Broadway Jr. camps culminate in two performances of a full Broadway Jr. production, complete with sets and costumes. The 2024 show is Anastasia, The Musical Youth Edition.  This dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.
