Town of Davidson Veteran's Day Program

The Town of Davidson invites community members to join us in commemorating Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11 at 11 am. The program will be held inside the Davidson Town Hall and Community Center Auditorium, located at 251 South Street. Veterans Day, originally referred to as Armistice Day, marked the end of World War I in 1918. The armistice that ceased the fighting was signed on the eleventh (11th) day of the eleventh (11th) month at 11 am Armistice Day eventually evolved into Veterans Day which honors veterans of all wars.
