The Runway: Beginner's Sewing Boot Camp

Over 92 million tons of clothing end up in landfills across the country each year. Campers will explore the benefits of upcycling clothing and learn how to operate a sewing machine. They will construct unique and fashionable clothing and accessories which they can wear with pride. This hands-on course will require a level of independence and the ability to work with a variety of sewing supplies. This course will conclude with a showcase of their new garments. No previous experience required.
Students will receive a Certificate of Completion
Tuition: $250 per course
Location: Central Piedmont's Central Campus
8th-12th Grade Students
Days: Saturdays
Time: 9 a.m - 1 p.m.
