This is a FREE Outdoor Pops concert sponsored by City of Monroe! This family-friendly FREE Union Symphony Orchestra outdoor concert is held annually on Mother’s Day. A seasonal favorite, picnics and lawn chairs are welcome.

The Union Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to invite music lovers of all ages to a FREE evening of Pops music on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Downtown Monroe’s Main Street Plaza. This seasonal tradition features local jazz soloist Dawn Anthony. Featuring a dynamic program that bridges the worlds of Broadway, Hollywood, and contemporary music, the Union Symphony Pops Concert offers something for everyone. Audiences can expect arrangements of familiar tunes to toe-tapping Broadway showstoppers.
