Middle School Printmaking 1.0

*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 12/19/2024
This 6-week class for middle school students will focus on printmaking techniques to create monoprints and print series. Students will use their understanding of the principles and elements of art to create interesting designs that will be made into prints. Students will explore gelli plates, styrofoam intaglio, and lino prints. No experience is required, and we encourage a willingness to try new things and make mistakes.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

By the end of the class, students will have confidence in creating their own art, have a variety of printmaking techniques to draw upon, and have created a series of prints using a variety of mediums!

Students with some experience can also take this class, and we will tailor the projects to be individualized for their level.

(Open to ages 11-14)
