Running the same week as our String Orchestra Camp, this Orchestra 101 Camp is designed for Rising 6th-8th graders who are interested in learning an instrument for the first time.
We’ll spend the week learning the basics of our instruments, how to take care of them, starting technique and all the fundamentals you need to get started successfully on a new musical journey, including the basics of reading sheet music. This camp is perfect for students who have never been in an orchestra before, or who have some orchestra experience but want to change instruments.
Available instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello
