Dive into an ocean adventure filled with creatures, discovery, and investigation as campers explore coral reefs, deep-sea trenches, polar oceans, and coastal habitats through engaging, hands-on activities. Throughout the week, campers take part in memorable experiences such as squid dissection, fish tagging, sea turtle identification, manatee games, oil-spill cleanup, and building a working model submarine from a plastic bottle. They also create ocean-themed projects that highlight ocean animals, habitats, and conditions. Campers experiment with buoyancy, density, tides, temperature, and ocean zones to understand how the ocean functions, where different animals live, and how they adapt to survive. They learn about Arctic food webs, coral reef adaptations, and deep-sea environments to see how life changes in different parts of the ocean. This camp blends marine science, ocean discovery, and conservation in a way that keeps curious campers engaged all week long.
