Looking for something to keep the kids occupied and engaged this Spring break? Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is excited to invite you to participate in one of our newly launched educational programs - “Jr. Wildlife Rescuers", designed especially for kids ages 7 to 12! Of course, all are welcome. This event will be held at:

Date: Saturday, April 26th
Time: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Cost: $15 – All proceeds benefit the animals at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue.

This engaging, hands-on class will introduce young nature lovers to the fascinating world of wildlife rescue and how to treat nature kindly. We’ll explore topics like:
- The Importance of Biodiversity – How birds help balance ecosystems.
- Wildlife Rescue 101 – When animals need our help and when they don’t.
- Careers in Wildlife – Exploring real-world opportunities.
- Rescue Case Studies – Meet animals we’ve saved and hear their stories.
- Hands-On Rescue Simulation – Experience what our rehabbers do!
- Interacting with Wildlife – How to respect and coexist with nature.
We will also have a special meet-and-greet with a CWR Ambassador animal!
