Hickory Bot Battles

Join us for 2 days of combat robot battles on September 8th from at 1 PM to 6 PM & September 9th from 9 AM to 6 PM. Sponsored by CSC and USCONEC Bot Battles will take place back in Carpenter Hall this year following the removal of Dinosaurs! & before the opening of the Thomas & Friends exhibit. Come see the over 100 competitive combat robot builders, robots weighing up to three pounds fight to the "death" in the 8’ x 8’ bullet-proof arena.

As one of the larger combat robot events on the East Coast, Hickory Bot Battles brings competitors from across the country, often including teams that have competed on the BattleBots tv show. Witness the Corporate Cup Competition which gives companies a chance to prove their engineering superiority via a single-elimination combat robot competition for glory and the cherished HBB Corporate Cup Trophy
Admission to the Science Center is not included; non-members who purchase tickets can add CSC admission for 1/2 price the day of their event. Tickets must be purchased for each day separately and can be found at catawbascience.org/hbb
