Engineering Extravaganza Camp > Rising 1 & 2 Graders
Using the engineering design process as a roadmap to success, campers will plan and build a city from the ground up as they utilize different branches of engineering. Campers will tinker with LEGO bricks as they learn how engineers make a difference in the world and work together to tackle real world challenges.

• Branches of engineering including environmental, civil, mechanical, electrical and aerospace and careers associated with those branches
• The engineering design process and Grand Engineering Challenges of the 21st Century Sustainability
• Creative solutions to real-world challenges
Camp Activities Include:
• Building circuits and harnessing renewable energy
• Experimenting with flight by designing and testing stomp rockets
• Working in teams to complete challenges including building marble mazes and catapults
