In Tiny Trekkers, children and adults explore the Preserve together while staff facilitate a themed adventure focusing on nature play.
10/2: Get out on the water with your little one. Paddle the waters of Col. Francis Beatty Park in a stable, comfortable canoe. After basic instruction on land, you'll have plenty of time to practice your strokes and explore the shoreline. This program is geared towards first-timers, but all skill levels are welcome.
Pre-registration required per child. Not a drop-off program; adult participation required. To give proper assistance during canoeing, we recommend having no more than 2 children per assisting adult.
This class takes place entirely outside so dress for the weather and bring a water bottle/snacks as desired. Prior to the program, the instructor will email additional information.
This program is for ages 2 to 5.
