Don't miss the biggest and best fireworks show between Charlotte and Asheville! This Independence Day Celebration begins July 4th at 6:00pm with a live band performing at the Neisler Stage at the park featuring music that will have you dancing on your feet.

In honor of the turning point of the Revolutionary War’s Battle of Kings Mountain (fought just south of town) a scene from "Liberty Mountain - The Revolutionary Drama" written by Bob Inman, will be performed by the cast at 9:00 pm. There will be a variety of food vendors available at Walking Track Park and visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chairs to the field within the walking track. Fireworks show will begin at full dark roughly 9:45 pm
