Huntersville Field of Honor® 9.11 Memorial Event

Over one hundred U.S. flags will stand in solemn formation at Veterans Park (201 Huntersville-Concord Road., Huntersville) from September 3, 2019 through September 17, 2019 as a memorial to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks of 2001. This stirring display will bring the community together that adults may remember and that youth may learn. Each flag represents an individual and tells a story.

It is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Huntersville Field of Honor® 9.11 Memorial Event display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge. Don’t miss it!
