Welcome to Charlotte Academy of the Arts, a place where curious beginners, dedicated students, and lifelong artists all find a home. Our programs run deep, from private instrument and voice lessons to music theory, musical theatre productions, acting and dance classes, and performing arts workshops. All our opportunities are CAA are designed to develop well-rounded, expressive, confident artists. What truly sets CAA apart is our commitment to developing the whole artist, building excellence alongside character, fostering leadership rooted in kindness, and creating a community where every student knows they belong.

Charlotte Academy of the Arts (CAA) is a performing arts studio founded in 2008 in the Matthews, NC area of Charlotte. CAA offers lessons, classes and performance opportunities in Music, Theatre, and Dance. CAA is the home of SHINE Musical Theatre, SPLASH! Summer Camps and offers a wide variety of performance opportunities from full scale musical theatre productions to recitals and music assessments such as the NFMC Festival, RCM Examinations, and more. CAA also offers a multitude of special events throughout the year for the community.
