Carnivorous Carnival - UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens

Learn about insect-eating plants and have a blast! This is a family event with games, crafts, hands-on displays, fly-trap feedings, face painting and more.

Carnival admission: $10 per child; free for parents
Included in admission: Ben Gregory, Entomology PhD, will be investigating and identifying the pitcher plants’ successful “catches” by dissecting pitchers with kids.
UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens Staff will be leading games and crafts
Fly-trap feedings will occur at 11am, 11:30am, 12pm, and 12:30pm.
Face painting will be provided
