FINAL DAYS of Birdhouse Building Contest VIEW & VOTE at Wing Haven

The annual Birdhouse Building Contest at Wing Haven is an opportunity for adults and children to construct a unique birdhouse that showcases their creativity and highlights the need for bird nesting sites. Houses built by registered participants will be on display in Wing Haven Garden & Bird Sanctuary from March 31st through May 1st. All garden visitors March 31st through May 1st are invited to vote on their favorite houses and learn more about providing adequate bird nesting sites through provided educational materials.

On Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3, local bird enthusiasts will be present to answer questions about bird nesting sites and other habitat conservation efforts.
Visit Wing Haven during open hours, Wednesday-Saturday, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00-3:00 PM, to stroll the gardens and cast your votes. Winners will be announced the week of May 3rd. To enter the contest, submit your birdhouse and application by Monday, March 29th, 2021. Contest entry fee of $10 supports educational programming at Wing Haven.
