OPENING DAY: Tyrannosaurs - Meet the Family at Discovery Science

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 05/26/2018
The world's first exhibition showcasing ancestors of Tyrannosaurus rex. Tyrannosaurus rex is arguably the world's most popular dinosaur. But how did this swift, flesh-eating predator get to the top of the food chain? Where did this powerful dinosaur come from and how did it evolve into the awe-inspiring creature that dominates popular culture today? Tyrannosaurs - Meet the Family is the world's first exhibition showcasing the newly-revised tyrannosaur family tree. This innovative, multimedia experience features more than 10 life-sized dinosaur specimens on display, including one of the oldest tyrannosaurs, Guanlong wucaii. With a dramatic array of fossils and casts of tyrannosaur specimens, including never-before-seen specimens from China, Tyrannosaurs - Meet the Familyprovides a snapshot of dinosaur life. Discover how this group became the world’s top predators with their massive skulls, powerful jaws and bone-crunching teeth.
