KidsWrite! New Play Festival 2018

Come join us at Burning Coal Theatre Company for our 10th annual KidsWrite! New Play Festival 2018, featuring works written by local students in 6th-12th grades. The festival will take place on May 25-26, 2018, with performances at 7:00 pm. Admission is $10, and tickets are available only at the door.

To encourage the young writers of North Carolina, Burning Coal each year holds a festival of new plays, written by students from 6th grade to 12th grade from Wake and surrounding counties in North Carolina.

This year’s featured plays will include:
REPENT by Abigail Shorter (Enloe HS)
THE STEAK-OUT by Eliana Planer (Enloe HS)
STEMS AND BRANCHES by Soraiah Williams (Panther Creek HS)
GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD by Jack Mohler (Research Triangle HS)
MASKER by Nick Cui (Hopewell Academy)
