Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden provides a wonderful living laboratory for meaningful, real-world explorations for your home-schooled students. Themed programming on the last Wednesday of every other month will include a variety of learning stations offering hands-on, guided discovery experiences with our knowledgeable instructional staff. Programs are offered 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. geared towards children in grades K-5. To register in advance, call 704-829-1270 or register online. Dig in to investigate the basics of veggie gardening. Students will learn about different types of soil, plant choice, caring for and maintaining a home garden. Designed to capture curiosity and enhance the learning process. Please note, we ask that parents please stay with children during the homeschool day activities. Children may not be dropped off on their own.
