ARCHAEOLOGY DAY at Fort Dobbs
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 07/28/2018
Archaeology is vital to our understanding of life at Fort Dobbs during the French and Indian War.
Visitors will be able to view some recently discovered artifacts and even assist site staff in the recovery of more as we sift soil displaced by the fort reconstruction.
Get your hands dirty and help us find items no person has seen in 260 years!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
General admission is free. A fee of $1 per person is required to participate in the hands-on part of the program. Saturday 10-2.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
