Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas

A celebration of the freeing of the slaves and their legacy to future generations with food, music, dance, drumming, art, youth seminars and historical displays. For the past 20 years we have gathered together to commemorate the freeing of the slaves with a 4 day celebration of African American culture and history. The Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas includes displays of art, history, crafts, exotic foods, drumming, music and international vendors. There are programs for families and youth seminars. Come join us as we promote unity, freedom and pride in the rich African American culture.
